ABSTRACT

Evasion of the technological world in the post globalization world is insurmountable, if not impossible. The internet is a friend and a foe to many. It is applauded and disdained as per convenience. In June 2016 the Human Rights Council has declared the right to internet usage as a human right. This Article therefore is pivoted around the perversion of the cyber space and how women find themselves in a susceptible spot in it. It proceeds by bringing forth the understanding of the “Cyber Space”. Further heading to the causes that have led to the drastic hike in the number of cybercrimes. The latter part has attempted to tackle the molding of women into prominent preys, with the help of certain case laws. Finally, producing a critical assessment post probing all loopholes infesting and hindering prevention
